Polymechanic (m/f)

Plastechnik AG is an established specialist in the manufacture of injection moulds and in the production of sophisticated plastic parts in high volumes, which are installed worldwide. The company is based in Bösingen (FR) and employs approx. 40 employees.

To strengthen our toolmaking department, we are looking for a Polymechanic m/f immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the manufacture of complex and precise individual tool parts for our injection moulds
• You operate and monitor our systems, in particular our new wire and sinker EDM machines incl. automation
• You create programs in our CAD/CAM software for our modern manufacturing machines
• You monitor and control the quality of the manufactured individual parts and are jointly responsible for meeting delivery dates
• You perform finishing and assembly work on new tools
• You actively help with the optimization of machining processes

Your profile

• You have completed vocational training as a Polymechanic or an equivalent basic mechanical education and have several years of experience in wire and sinker EDM
• Ideally, you have professional experience as a toolmaker
• You have good IT knowledge
• You work systematically and precisely
• You are reliable and have a high sense of responsibility
• You are motivated to lead a team of 2-3 employees
