IAM Architect (f/m/d)

For one of our public sector clients in Genève, we are looking for an IAM Architect (f/m/d) responsible for designing, evolving, and securing identity and access management (IAM) architectures, while contributing to the technological strategy and the integration of IAM services within the information system.

Your mission

• Design and evolve IAM architectures taking into account functional, security, performance, and high availability requirements.
• Model systems, exchange flows, and IAM solutions, ensuring their consistency with architectural standards and business needs.
• Contribute to the definition of the IAM technical strategy and the evolution of the information system's technological architectures.
• Support and advise project teams in the integration of authentication, identity federation, and access management services.
• Guarantee the compliance of architectures with security standards and frameworks, and support technical teams through design workshops, guides, and recommendations.

Your profile

• University degree in computer science (Bachelor), EPF engineering degree, or equivalent training, with proven experience in information system architecture, particularly in the design, urbanization, and modeling of technical architectures.
• Excellent mastery of IT security issues, risk analysis frameworks, standards, and best practices (ISO, NIST, CIS, OWASP), as well as IAM concepts: authentication, RBAC access management, directories, digital identities, and ABAC/ReBAC notions.
• Good mastery of IAM architecture patterns, technical architectures, and web technologies, as well as SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Kerberos, RADIUS, SCIM, and FIDO2/WebAuthn protocols. Knowledge of Microsoft AD and Entra ID directories and Zero Trust principles.
• Good mastery of server-side Java development and good knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows environments. Experience with high availability architectures, secrets management (HSM, KMS, Vault, PKI), and architecture modeling (ArchiMate, iServer).
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills, combined with strong autonomy, rigor, and pragmatism. Strong sense of confidentiality, professional integrity, and ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.
