Attached to the quality of public service, the City of La Chaux-de-Fonds is looking for a: Deputy Curator at 60% History Museum Your mission / In collaboration with the curator, you participate in the coordination of the museum and its various activities. You assume tasks related to programming and setting up exhibitions. You take part in acquisition processes, conservation and study of works. You manage editorial, event and mediation projects. You participate in fundraising and representing the museum to the media and external partners. You maintain and develop close relationships with institutional and academic circles. Your profile / Personal skills / With advanced training in historical sciences (history, archaeology or art history), you have solid institutional experience. You have proven scientific and museographic skills and know how to lead a team. You demonstrate excellent writing skills and a keen sense of popularization. Skills in English or German are an asset. Sensitive to regional history, you have an extensive professional network and a good knowledge of regional cultural life. Autonomous, flexible, versatile, rigorous and creative, you like to take initiatives and are able to organize and lead multiple projects in parallel.
