Kloster Einsiedeln is a traditional Benedictine abbey and, with around 40 monks as well as its famous pilgrimage chapel, is one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in Switzerland. For over 1,000 years, it has been a place of culture, education and encounter.
In our monastery kitchen, meals are prepared daily for the monk community, the students of the Stiftsschule, employees and guests.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for support as a

Kitchen Assistant (80-100%)

immediately or by arrangement

Your tasks

• Responsibility for all work in the dishwashing kitchen and in the kitchen area
• Assistance with preparation and general preparatory work
• Cleaning according to checklists in compliance with hygiene regulations
• Care and cleaning of floors (incl. use of cleaning machines)
• Setting tables as well as cleaning work in the convent (dining hall of the monks)
• Support of the kitchen team during service times

Your profile

• Experience in a comparable activity, ideally in communal gastronomy
• Efficient, structured and precise way of working
• Good German skills are a must (other languages an advantage)
• Independent, reliable and responsible way of working
• Ability to work in a team as well as openness towards people from different cultures
• Resilience and willingness to work flexible shifts (incl. weekends)
