Logistics Manager

Job Description ##

As a logistics manager, you participate in the smooth running of the educational establishment in Aubonne and surroundings and collaborate continuously with teachers and students. Thus, you will contribute not only to administrative efficiency, but also to the overall success of the educational mission entrusted to Vaud compulsory education.

Responsibilities ##

• Guarantee the stock management of school supplies and materials.
• Ensure the ordering, preparation, and distribution of school supplies and materials.
• Guarantee compliance with financial resources and the maintenance of the storeroom cash register.
• Collaborate with the management of the educational establishment, teachers, and communal staff for good management of the storeroom.
• Ensure administrative follow-up of the storeroom.

The function involves handling heavy loads and requires the use of handling equipment.

The working time is annualized to compensate for a certain number of school holiday weeks and a higher workload, particularly at the beginning and end of the school year.

Qualifications ##

• CFC as a logistician (storage, transport or distribution) or an equivalent title required
• 3 years of professional practice since obtaining the CFC, or experience in an analogous position in logistics
• Driver's license required and forklift license desired
• Knowledge of standard office tools (IT) and stock management software required
• Knowledge of the school environment desired
• Sense of responsibility, customer orientation, and public service ethics
• Listening and communication, spirit of mutual aid and collaboration
• Ability to organize and manage time, self-control and stress management
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fluctuating workload
