Strategic Assistant to the Managing Director & Project Management

Your tasks

• Independent assumption of strategic and operational projects on behalf of the Managing Director
• Structuring of new or poorly defined issues and conversion into concrete work packages, responsibilities, and schedules
• Controlling projects from analysis and conception to implementation and success control
• Coordination of the departments and specialists involved, particularly from operations, HR, finance, IT, social services, and integration
• Preparation of analyses, decision templates, business cases, concepts, and recommendations for action
• Preparation of complex information for the Managing Director, executive management, and the Board of Directors
• Creation of convincing presentations, reports, project plans, and management updates
• Analysis of operational and financial key figures as well as derivation of concrete improvement measures
• Support in the establishment of new mandates, offers, locations, and organizational structures
• Collaboration on projects in the areas of strategy, organization, processes, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and operational excellence
• Preparation and moderation of project meetings and workshops
• Consistent follow-up of decisions, milestones, risks, deadlines, and open points
• Obtaining necessary information from internal and external stakeholders
• Early recognition of implementation risks and development of pragmatic solution proposals
• Assumption of short-term special assignments where rapid structure, analysis, and reliable implementation are required
• Ensuring that assigned projects are not only processed conceptually but are successfully implemented together with the responsible teams

Your profile

• Completed Bachelor or Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences, for example, in business administration, economics, management, law, public management, or a comparable field of study
• A degree from the University of St. Gallen or a comparable university is an advantage
• Initial practical experience through internships, student consulting, project work, start-up experience, or activity in consulting, strategy, business development, or operations is an advantage
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Ability to quickly grasp unclear problems, structure them meaningfully, and convert them into concrete solutions
• High personal quality standards and enjoyment in taking responsibility for results
• Strong orientation towards implementation and willingness to accompany topics from concept to introduction
• Confident handling of Excel and PowerPoint as well as a good understanding of numbers and economic contexts
• High digital affinity and ideally practical experience with AI applications
• Very good written and oral German skills as well as a precise and understandable writing style
• Professional communication and the ability to win different specialists over to a common goal even without formal leadership responsibility
• Quick comprehension, initiative, and a structured way of working
• Flexibility and composure in dealing with changing priorities and short-term tasks
