• Guarantee legal advice in case of requests and legal support during the drafting of positions and consultation procedures
• Collaborate on the elaboration and updating of legal bases (explanations, ordinances, and instructions)
• Elaborate directives and instructions regarding military law, data protection law, and those relating to the application of transparency law
• Direct the operational planning and execution from a technical, methodological, and didactic profile of the legal instructions intended for internal bodies, training institutes in the Defense sector as well as external authorities
• Draft and rework instructional documentation from a didactic perspective with the support of specialist bodies
• Provide support to the Specialized Service for extremism within the army regarding communication, advice on individual cases, and the adoption of measures

What distinguishes you

• University degree in law (bachelor) with several years of professional experience
• Excellent conceptual and rhetorical skills; basic didactic and pedagogical knowledge
• Communication skills, team spirit, ability to think interdisciplinarily
• Good knowledge of military law, reliability, and initiative
• Written and oral knowledge of a second official language

The Instruction Command (Cdo Istr) is responsible for instruction within the Swiss Army -- from recruitment to general basic instruction to officer training -- regarding the militia and professional soldiers. It includes Higher Officer Training, Army Personnel, five training formations, the Instruction Center, and the Specialized Service Women in the army and diversity. One third of the approximately 2350 employees are active in civilian professions in scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative, or sporting fields and contribute to success together with professional soldiers.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new generations, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
