Your field of activity

• You autonomously manage and maintain various heat production installations, from wood chip and pellet plants to district heating networks, including steam extractions, heat pumps, and substations
• For ecological, economical, and reliable operation, you analyze the state of the installations and continuously optimize processes
• You treat breakdowns systematically and develop sustainable and preventive solutions in order to avoid recurring problems
• You autonomously plan and coordinate maintenance, repair, and optimization measures, in collaboration with external companies
• During commissioning and shutdowns as well as for new installations, you guarantee a safe real-condition test and the quality of implementation
• You support customers with technical questions and ensure rapid intervention in case of breakdown during the on-call service

What you bring

• Completed basic technical training with Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as a heating installer, electrician installer, mechanic, or in a comparable profession
• Ideally, you have additional training as a heat specialist for thermal systems, technical orientation in wood, oil, gas combustion or heat pumps, building technical planner heating, maintenance specialist, or boiler plant manager
• Your practical experience in the maintenance of technical installations as well as your knowledge in control and regulation technology distinguish you
• User skills in MS Office, control systems and maintenance programs as well as a category B driver's license are required
• Your command of German is fluent, any other language is an advantage
• Your willingness to take responsibility also manifests in your commitment to the on-call service, which you currently assume approximately every seven weeks for the portfolio of installations
