The Amt für Justizvollzug (AJV) Graubünden is a department of the Department of Justice, Security and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. The AJV is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as the implementation of various types of detention. In Graubünden, the execution of sentences and measures is regulated as a unified subject area and holistic task, in which different professional groups work interdisciplinary with convicted people to prevent further delinquency. The Justizvollzugsanstalt (JVA) Cazis Tignez employs around 110 staff members and has 150 detention places in closed execution. Of these, 100 in normal execution, ten in the intake department, 28 in the special execution area, and twelve in pretrial detention. We are looking for a Team Leader Security as of 1 September 2026 or by arrangement Your area of responsibility Technical, personnel, and organizational leadership of the assigned team Leadership, promotion, and development of the seven subordinate employees as well as support in their tasks Taking over daily responsibility for the security area Ensuring smooth 24-hour operation of the JVA regarding all security-relevant processes and facilities including the central office Person, effects, room, vehicle, and area controls Care, instruction, and accompaniment of admitted persons of various origins and cultural backgrounds Ensuring internal team instructions for employees and compliance with security regulations External transport of admitted persons Administrative activities such as writing reports and documenting events Performing early, day, late, night, on-call, and weekend shifts What we wish for from you Completed training with (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification Training and further education in the security sector or completed training as a Fachfrau/-mann für Justizvollzug is an advantage Several years of leadership experience – ideally in criminal execution or in a similar security-relevant area High social competence, resilience, assertiveness, flexibility, as well as the ability to maintain professional boundaries Enjoyment of teamwork as well as openness to interdisciplinary cooperation Very good IT user knowledge as well as oral and written expression in German (at least C1) - foreign language skills are an advantage Sound administrative skills and conceptual thinking Driver's license Cat.
