Schweizer Tierschutz STS is the umbrella organization of 70 animal welfare organizations from all linguistic regions of Switzerland as well as Liechtenstein. As the largest animal welfare organization in Switzerland, we are passionately committed to the welfare of domestic, livestock, wild, and laboratory animals.

We want to further professionalize our fundraising and sustainably expand foundation fundraising. For this, we are looking for you: a relationship-oriented and implementation-focused personality as

Fundraising Manager: Foundation Fundraising (80–100 %)

Your mission: Building and strengthening funding partnerships. In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of foundations and funding institutions, further develop existing partnerships, and tap into new funding opportunities. With convincing applications, professional reporting, and long-term relationship management, you will make a significant contribution to the financing of our animal welfare work.

What you can achieve with us:

• Foundation fundraising: You research and prioritize suitable foundations and funding institutions, win new funding partners, and further develop existing relationships in the long term.
• Funding applications & reportings: You create target-group-oriented funding applications, project descriptions, as well as interim and final reports, and coordinate the associated project budgets.
• Funding management: You manage your foundation pipeline, monitor deadlines, funding requirements, and reporting cycles, and ensure the timely submission of all documents.
• Departmental networking: You work closely with our specialist departments and the Head of Fundraising to prepare eligible projects, budgets, and impact evidence convincingly.
• CRM & planning: You document relationships and activities completely in the CRM and maintain pipeline, deadline, and planning overviews.
• Development perspective: With appropriate experience and development of the area, you can occasionally take on tasks in Major Donor Fundraising and support its further expansion.

What you bring with you:

• Experience: You have several years of professional experience in foundation fundraising and know the requirements for professional funding applications and reportings.
• Foundation knowledge: You know the Swiss foundation landscape and its funding logics or can orient yourself quickly thanks to comparable experience.
• Language skills: You formulate very confidently in German and can prepare complex specialist content precisely, understandably, and convincingly. Good French skills, ideally at least level B2, are an advantage.
• Relationship strength: You have a confident manner, listen attentively, and enjoy building and maintaining long-term relationships with funding partners.
• Way of working: You work independently, structured, and precisely, maintain an overview even with multiple projects and deadlines, and are proficient in using CRM systems as well as MS Office, especially Teams, Word, and Excel.
• Passion: You strongly identify with the goals and values of Schweizer Tierschutz STS.
