Linux Engineer with AWS and Kubernetes experience 80-100 % St. Gallen, Zürich-Flughafen or Bern

In the Customer Solutions BUND team, we support our customers in the operation and further development of modern platforms and applications. Using DevOps principles, cloud technologies, and automation, we create stable, scalable, and efficient operating environments. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual who professionally operates and further develops Linux systems, AWS services, and Kubernetes platforms.

Your role ##

• Operation, monitoring, and further development of Linux system landscapes
• Administration of Linux environments in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid scenarios
• Construction and operation of AWS infrastructures as well as Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms
• Automation of operating and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code
• Collaboration in the further development of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
• Analysis and rectification of malfunctions as well as ensuring availability, performance, and security
• Support with migrations and modernization projects
• Advising our customers on technical questions
• Participation in on-call or standby service

Your profile ##

• Education or further training in the field of informatics or comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of experience in the operation and administration of Linux systems
• Knowledge of AWS as well as Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, or comparable tools)
• Understanding of network, security, and monitoring topics
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working as well as enjoyment of working with customers and in a team
• Very good German skills (at least C1 level) and good English skills

Advantageous

• Certifications in AWS or Kubernetes (e.g., CKA, CKAD)
• Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Elastic
