Die Spitäler Schaffhausen (SSH) ensure the basic child and adolescent psychiatric care in the Canton of Schaffhausen. The Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrischer Dienst (KJPD) provides outpatient and day-clinic services for children, adolescents, and their families on a public-law mandate. ###

What awaits you

• You conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic investigations in children and adolescents and develop appropriate recommendations from them.
• You carry out psychological and/or psychotherapeutic interventions and support children, adolescents, and their families in challenging life situations.
• You work closely with parents, schools, doctors, as well as other specialist offices and institutions.
• You actively contribute your professional perspective to the interdisciplinary team and participate in case discussions, supervision, and the further development of our services.
• You create professionally sound reports and ensure careful, structured, and traceable documentation.

How you move us forward

• You have a Master's degree in psychology and ideally completed or advanced psychotherapeutic training with a focus on children and adolescents.
• You bring experience in psychological diagnostics and/or psychotherapy of children and adolescents.
• You encounter children, adolescents, and families with appreciation, empathy, and at eye level and can also build sustainable relationships in demanding situations.
• You enjoy working interdisciplinary, communicate openly, and actively contribute to professional discussions and joint solutions.
• You work independently, reliably, and reflectively, enjoy professional further development, and have very good German skills in spoken and written form.
• You are ready to shape the KJPD of the Spitäler Schaffhausen together with our new Chief Physician KJPD.

Die Spitäler Schaffhausen include the Kantonsspital, the Psychiatrischen Dienste, the Praxen Radiologie und Kardiologie Posthof Neuhausen, as well as the Praxis Neurologie Schaffhausen Zentrum. With over 1'700 employees, we ensure the expanded basic medical and nursing care of the Schaffhausen region. Every year, we care for approximately 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients. Additionally, we are an important training site in the canton.
