Job Description ## The Application Engineer is responsible for the management, integration, and continuous improvement of critical business applications in the healthcare field. He/she ensures the stability, security, and performance of key systems such as PIS, RIS, PACS, and LIS, while guaranteeing their adequacy with operational and clinical needs. This role contributes directly to the optimization of services intended for patients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders. Application management • Ensure the management of critical applications of the health information system • Guarantee their availability, performance, stability, and ergonomics • Analyze level 3 incidents, coordinate their resolution, and implement sustainable solutions • Maintain up-to-date documentation, configurations, and operational procedures System integration and evolution • Translate business and clinical needs into technical solutions • Ensure the integration of systems (PIS, RIS, PACS, LIS, and others) • Manage interfaces, data flows, and application dependencies • Participate in testing, validation, and production releases • Train and support users Stakeholder management • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams • Interact with publishers and external partners • Coordinate incidents, changes, and improvements • Ensure clear communication with all interlocutors Governance, security, and quality • Respect IT standards, security requirements, and internal controls • Contribute to access management and data protection • Participate in risk and quality assessments Projects and transformation • Contribute to application evolution and deployment projects • Participate in digital initiatives, including artificial intelligence • Support integration phases in contexts of external growth • Ensure the transition between projects and operations The Successful Applicant ## Skills • Solid knowledge of applications, infrastructures, networks, and IT security • Experience with health information systems (PIS, RIS, PACS, LIS) • Ability to operate in complex environments with multiple interlocutors • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ease of communication with technical and business profiles • Structured approach, autonomy, and results orientation • Strong sense of service and pragmatism Languages • Proficiency in English • Good level of French and German required What's on Offer ## Dynamic environment 2 days of Home-office per week flexible hours Quote job ref JN-062026-7044687 Job Function Information Technology Specialisation ERP Industry Healthcare / Pharmaceutical Where Fribourg Contract Type Permanent Job Reference JN-062026-7044687
