The Age and Care sector of the city of Winterthur trains approximately 120 apprentices every year in 7 different professions. Our training is practice-oriented, varied, and opens many career possibilities to you. With us, you work in a lively and meaningful environment.

In the two-year basic vocational training as a kitchen assistant, you are responsible for the preparation of different meals.

• * Prepare cold and hot dishes
• * Make bakery products and desserts
• * Manage the storage of food items

• * Taste for handling food and cooking
• * Good sense of smell and taste
