The company offers its clients professional support to optimize their quality requirements and divides its key competencies into four main components: project/risk management, quality management, requirements management, as well as process management. For an external client project in the greater Zurich region, we are looking for an experienced and competent person for the position of Business Analyst at Expert level (8-12 years of experience) starting from 01.09.2026.   Main tasks: • * Analysis of processes related to current software (e.g., needs assessment, acquisition, deployment, use, maintenance, termination/withdrawal) and identification of gaps from the software asset management (SAM) perspective. • * Design and modeling of targeted software asset management throughout the software lifecycle, including roles, responsibilities, control points, and interfaces (notably IT, purchasing, finance, security, compliance). • * Collection, coordination, and documentation of functional and technical requirements for a future SAM tool (e.g., license management, inventory, contract management, reporting) - including the prioritization of minimum requirements (MVP). • * Design of the integration of the SAM tool into the existing system landscape (such as the ITSM system or SAP Ariba) as well as definition of data needs, interfaces, and quality requirements. • * Development of decision-making bases (business case, target vision), functional concepts, and training documents as well as support for tool selection and the first implementation steps. • Requirements (content, methodology, technology): • * Several years of experience as a Business Engineer in an agile environment (preferably SAFe), ideally with a focus on software asset management, license management, or IT financial management. • * Marked ability to moderate different stakeholders (business, IT, architecture, purchasing, finance, risks, management), prepare decisions, and communicate and document complex topics in a clear, audience-appropriate, and understandable manner. • * In-depth experience in implementing or developing software asset management or license management, including the design of end-to-end processes; experience with SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, ServiceNow SAM, Snow, USU or comparable solutions) is a plus. • * Strong analytical and conceptual ability combined with pragmatism: you think in terms of utility, impact, risk, and costs, challenge assumptions, and establish priorities. • Language requirements: (oral / written) • * German: C1 - expert use of the language • * English: C1 - expert use of the language - Advanced (CAE) • On-site presence approximately 60 % and approximately 40 % teleworking, teleworking is only authorized from Swiss airspace   We offer: • * Dynamic, flexible, and motivated team • * Interesting tasks, projects, and challenges • * Evolution possibilities • * Good social benefits • Do you feel concerned?
