Socio-educational Companion at 80% - CDI

In the heart of the city of Vevey, we welcome about a hundred adults living with a physical disability, multiple disabilities, a mild intellectual deficiency and/or an impairment to their mental health. We are a recognized socio-educational establishment of public utility, founded in 1950. Aiming to support the full participation of the people accompanied, to guarantee their well-being, their health and their quality of life, and to act in favor of a more inclusive society, we are looking for our Jaman Accommodation sector (physical disability), a: SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL COMPANION with a HES nursing diploma or CFC of ASSC 1 position in CDI at 80 % We offer you: • An enriching activity and responsibilities within an interdisciplinary team • Work in collaboration with staff from other sectors and external partners (professionals, families, legal representatives, etc.) • Active participation in institutional projects • Possibilities for continuous training • A pleasant working environment • A status according to the Social Collective Labour Agreement We ask of you: • A HES nursing diploma, a CFC of ASSC or a title deemed equivalent recognized by the Swiss Red Cross • Confirmed experience with people living with a physical disability, sometimes associated with mental health issues, would be an asset • An interest in the relationship and global support, including basic care • A capacity to define priorities by combining efficiency and humanity • A good sense of analysis and a good capacity to maintain perspective • Good capacities for autonomy, organization and flexibility regarding schedules • Proficiency in IT and a driver's license Start date: immediately or by agreement.
