Senior Accountant & Controller

We are looking for you as a Senior Accountant & Controller
100% workload – Flawil – reporting directly to the Group CEO

Your mission
You are responsible for the controlling of the group companies and participate in the three-person accounting team in accounting and financial statements. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you provide the management board and board of directors with sound bases for decision-making.

What you will do

• Independent management and further development of the controlling of the group companies, including the group investment list and investment planning in the infrastructure sector together with the department heads
• Preparation of all financial data and key figures as well as ad-hoc analyses for the management board and board of directors
• Cooperation in accounting in the three-person team (Microsoft Dynamics NAV): controls, reconciliations, payment transactions and dunning management, monthly closings at balance sheet level, annual financial statements of the companies and the group as well as monthly consolidation
• Support and advice to the Group CEO in commercial matters
• Continuous optimization of organization and processes as well as participation in projects

What you bring with you

• Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Finance and Accounting, ideally Federal Diploma of Higher Education as an Expert in Accounting and Controlling
• More than 5 years of experience as an accounting generalist, including annual financial statements and balance sheets
• Experience in project management
• Further training in the area of VAT is an advantage
• Very good Excel and ERP skills, ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Proficient German and very good English skills, French and Serbian skills are an advantage
• Analytical, entrepreneurial thinker and resilient
• High advisory competence as well as an exact, independent way of working
