Senior Logistics Manager - Art objects Company profile established company Your main tasks In this extremely interesting and demanding position, you are responsible for the organization of all transports, imports/exports, loans and the associated special projects including preparation & follow-up, such as customs, documentation and data entry. You handle all customs-related imports & exports, are responsible for maintaining the OZL and ensure a timely, updated database (transport, warehouse (in/out), object status, customs and other relevant data). In consultation with the relevant stakeholders, you develop proposed solutions for the import/export to be applied, including requesting quotes for transports and respective cost monitoring. You plan and ensure a timely flow of information with various departments, including coordination/organization, and work closely with the finance department in the area of taxes and customs, as well as invoicing to customers. Education and experience We are looking for an experienced (Senior) Logistics Manager and expert with sound professional experience in all relevant customs-related questions in import and export processes. Vocational training is important to us insofar as you are able to meet the business and technical challenges of this position from the start with your "school backpack" (whether apprenticeship, e.g. as a customs declarant or studies). A high degree of organizational talent, independent and clean way of working, flexibility and communication and negotiation skills even in conflict situations should be present. Very good German, as well as very good English skills are required for this position.
