Reference: CLS/RH/ / Type of contract: 100% apprenticeship contract / Hours: according to schedule / Start date: 1st August 2027 / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")
What will you be required to do?
As a professional dedicated to the well-being of patients, your primary responsibility is to create a welcoming, clean and secure environment for our patients. You ensure the meticulous preparation of rooms, elegant decoration, and seasonal decorations for a warm atmosphere. Your field of intervention covers various activities, from cleaning to catering, including linen management, preparation of drinks, and preparation of simple dishes. You are also responsible for the maintenance of equipment, the management of merchandise stocks, and participate in the setting up of banquets as well as the arrangement of conference rooms. Your close collaboration with the other services of the Clinique guarantees patient satisfaction. In the absence of the housekeeper on duty, you organize the work of the Housekeeping Service team and supervise the state of the rooms.
Who will you be working with?
The Clinique's Housekeeping Service consists of 60 multicultural, dynamic and versatile collaborators who take great care of the patients. The quality of service and especially empathy make all the difference. The team's motto: everything is in the detail!
In this position you will report to Nathalie Sauder, General Housekeeper for 24 years. She attaches particular importance to coaching and motivating her teams with the objective that they flourish in their work and can give their best to the patients.
What do we expect from you?
Secondary school graduation certificate or current 11th-grade school certificate
Good interpersonal skills, reliability and autonomy
Sense of organization and responsibility
Ability to work under pressure and to adapt to an irregular schedule
Oriented towards details, order and cleanliness
Mastery of the French language (oral and written) and common IT tools
