Chemical Laboratory Technician / Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technologist 2-shift

Exclusively for our client - a renowned company in the Liestal region - we are looking for someone starting immediately

Your tasks:

• Independent production and optimization of demanding dry mixtures as well as carrying out chemical transformations on a laboratory scale
• Development and testing of innovative solid components based on silver oxide and lithium-ion compounds
• Applying sound polymer experience in the characterization and formulation of polymeric binders and special coatings
• Carrying out precise quality control analyses (QC) as well as monitoring and managing the internal laboratory water treatment to ensure pure process media
• Active collaboration and leadership of smaller projects to improve production and control processes
• Shift work: Reliable supervision and documentation of ongoing series of experiments in the 2-shift model (early/late shift)

Qualifications

Your profile:

• Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technologist EFZ or a comparable qualification
• Practical experience in the precise weighing and mixing of powders (solid-state chemistry) as well as in handling polymers
• Willingness to work in the 2-shift system (ideally covered by your previous experience in shift operation)
• Knowledge in the field of electrochemistry or the formulation of specialty chemicals is an advantage
• Structured, exact and quality-conscious way of working according to GMP or ISO standards
