The International School Basel (ISB) is an English-speaking international day school for students aged 3 to 18. The Position

ISB is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Modern Languages Teacher (German) (100%) to join our primary school modern languages team. The selected candidate will teach German from Early Years 3 to Grade 5 within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), fostering linguistic development, curiosity, and intercultural understanding in students.

The ideal candidate will have teaching experience in an international environment, a solid understanding of language acquisition, and a commitment to engaging student-centered learning. Experience with the IB PYP programme would be an advantage.

Due to work permit restrictions, preference will be given to candidates of EU/Swiss nationality and candidates holding a valid Swiss work permit.
