Team Leader Mechanical Systems

In this role, you will lead the team for mechanical systems of training aircraft and be responsible for the associated development projects.

Tasks

• Leading, supporting, and developing the team for mechanical systems of the training aircraft
• Organization and management of all projects in the team according to customer requirements, schedule, and budget
• Cooperation with and control of numerous mechanical suppliers for timely delivery
• Leading the development of new mechanical systems according to budget specifications and handling obsolescence issues
• Cooperation with the business unit and suppliers to identify future opportunities along the roadmap

Profile

• University degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualification
• At least 10 years of experience with mechanical aircraft systems
• At least 5 years of experience with the client's aircraft
• Proven experience in project management as well as in the improvement of engineering processes
• Proven leadership experience, ideally with multicultural, interdisciplinary, and geographically distributed teams
• Strong analytical and communication skills towards technical teams and management
