Regional Vocational Training Manager 50%

Who you are Over 160 people are currently completing an apprenticeship at IKEA Schweiz or are participants in a program for people with refugee experience. They are accompanied by around 36 committed vocational trainers, over 200 practical trainers - and perhaps soon by you. As a Regional Vocational Training Manager, you will support several locations and will be the main contact person for internal and external inquiries regarding vocational training and integration. To be successful in this role, you need: • Professional experience in the HR field, in vocational training, or in vocational integration • Fluent language skills in German and French are a must - Italian is a plus • Digital competencies as well as a structured, independent, and reliable way of working, experience in Project Management is an advantage • Flexibility and mobility to regularly visit our various locations and work on-site with colleagues and apprentices (you will spend around half of your working time at different locations) Your responsibilities As part of our national team for vocational training and integration, you will take responsibility for: • The development of our vocational trainers and the individual promotion of our apprentices and participants - both professionally and personally. • Providing situation-appropriate support in challenging moments, as well as the continuous accompaniment and observation of learning progress • The planning and execution of administrative tasks, for example in the recruitment and contract process. • Building relationships with employees at our locations and collaborating with vocational trainers, the local HR teams, as well as cantonal authorities. • Compliance with all relevant specifications - from cantonal and federal legal regulations to internal standards. • Co-shaping local and national projects and strategies with which we continue to develop IKEA as a future-oriented and human-centered training company. Internal candidates can combine the position with other tasks in their current unit. With this workload, you can work from home for approx. 1/2 day per week if you wish to do so.
