The Swiss Distance University offers university courses entirely online and is accredited according to the HFKG. It combines flexible and location-independent part-time distance learning with an active interdisciplinary research culture at the Brig campus. In five faculties - law, psychology, economics, history as well as mathematics & computer science - we have been shaping modern teaching, learning and research for over 30 years and have more than 2-700 students as well as approximately 550 employees.

Faculty Services is an academic service of the Swiss Distance University. They support the faculties in order to ensure and develop high quality standards in teaching and research. The proposed Faculty Manager position is attached to Faculty Services and includes close collaboration with the dean's office of the faculty of history.
