The Goetheanum nursery maintains and develops the approximately 11 ha park-garden around the Goetheanum. Orchards with a small herd of dairy cows mainly characterize the site. While large parts are maintained in a natural manner, artistically designed rose and flower beds surround the buildings. Thematic gardens provide the transition to vegetable and cut flower areas. In addition, we maintain and develop gardens in the nearby and more distant surroundings. Our team includes 10 salaried gardeners, apprentices, as well as several collaborators accompanied via the Andrena day center.
