For our client, an independent, non-profit company based in and with a strong focus in the Bern area, we are looking for the HR Services Team to find a responsible and team-oriented specialist. Payroll Specialist Abacus, 80-100%

Your tasks

• Processing and responsibility for the assigned entities in payroll with approx. 500 HC’s incl. shifts and allowances
• You master the withholding tax and social security statements from "FF"
• Reports to the social insurance institutions and authorities (entries, exits, mutations, wage data for the processing of family allowances, loss of earnings compensation and maternity compensation)
• Processing of accident and illness reports via Sunetplus including wage reductions in case of long-term absence (recalculations etc.)
• Substitution of colleagues within the team and their assigned entities
• Preparation and analysis of statistics and settlements

Your profile

• At least 3-5 years of experience in the field of payroll
• Proficient in Swiss payroll accounting; withholding tax, social insurance and labor law
• Experience with ERP Abacus is preferred, good knowledge of Excel
• Personal responsibility, team player, a high quality standard and strong self-organization skills
• German as a mother tongue or level (C1 with diploma), any further language an advantage
