Tasks In this versatile function, you will carry out overhauls, service work, and repairs on rail vehicles as well as special machines. You will analyze and diagnose mechanical faults and ensure their professional rectification. Your area of responsibility also includes the disassembly, refurbishment, and assembly of vehicle components. Furthermore, you will participate in conversions, modernizations, and technical optimizations and perform functional and safety tests. Occasional mobile maintenance assignments at customers within Switzerland round off your field of activity. You will carefully document the work performed in the ERP system Abacus and ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards. Requirements You have completed training as a rail vehicle, commercial vehicle, construction, or agricultural machinery mechanic or bring a comparable basic technical training. Ideally, you have already been able to gain experience in maintenance or service technology, preferably in the area of rail vehicles. You convince through a pronounced technical understanding, manual dexterity, as well as an independent, structured, and reliable way of working. A high sense of responsibility and safety characterizes you as well as your team-oriented, positive, and solution-oriented personality. Additionally, you bring the willingness for occasional service assignments within Switzerland. Very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as a driving license of category B are required.
