Aarau by arrangement Exciting tasks await: <br /> • Effective leadership: You lead the Baden-Zurzach district forestry office, its deputy and the district foresters in a professional and practical manner. You shape the strategic direction of the Forest Department in the management with impact. • Forest & Law under control: You assess construction and clearing requests, ensure enforcement in forest law and set clear guidelines in spatial planning issues. • Shaping sustainable forest management: You accompany business plans, approve logging and implement projects to promote valuable tree species and remediate forest damage. • Protection & Nature united: You assess protection forests according to NaiS, implement nature conservation projects and ensure a balance between use and ecology. • Networking, advising, motivating: You advise and support forest owners, municipalities and organizations, coordinate regional interests and bring your expertise into daily business, projects and expert groups. <br /> What you bring: <br /> • Solid education: Master's degree as a forest engineer or in environmental natural sciences with a focus on forest & landscape, Bachelor of Science in forest sciences or equivalent education • Experience & Leadership: Several years of practice and leadership experience in a comparable environment • Commitment & Drive: High willingness to perform, willingness to perform and joy in taking responsibility • Communication strength: Convincing appearance as well as skill in negotiating with different stakeholder groups • Solution-oriented thinking: Goal-oriented, pragmatic way of working with a focus on sustainable solutions <br /> Special / To be submitted We would be happy to receive your resume, work certificates and diplomas and waive a letter of motivation.
