Job Description ##

As Project Manager Mechanical Engineering (m/f/div.), you clarify the goal, the budget, and the project durations or completion dates at the start of a project. You plan the individual steps, distribute tasks, coordinate the project teams, and motivate them. During the implementation of projects, you ensure that sub-steps are achieved on schedule and that quality requirements and budgets are met. You explain the tasks and goals to your team members. Likewise, you inform the clients and supervisors about the status of the projects. You document all steps and create the final documentation after the project ends.

Your tasks essentially include:

• Technical and commercial project planning of in-house built plants as well as timely commissioning are among your responsibilities.
• You hand over the plant to production and process open points such as quality management, documentation, or occupational safety
• You are responsible for budget planning as well as the tracking and compliance of project costs
• Capacity planning as well as coordination with external companies or suppliers fall within your area of responsibility
• You support mechanical engineering in the procurement of assemblies or standard parts as well as in commercial issues arising from this
• In the project management tool, you maintain the project status together with the team and their supervisors and continuously develop the tool further.

Qualifications ##

• Education: Commercial or technical basic training with further training as a Betriebsfachmann / Betriebstechniker (m/f/div.) or a higher professional education in mechanical engineering / business administration
• Personality and working style: Flexible, solution-oriented, and communicative personality with a high degree of independence and initiative and international willingness to travel (weekly up to six times per year)
• Experience and know-how: Experience in project management as well as very good MS Office skills are an advantage
• Languages: Good communication and expression in German and English
