To ensure our assembly runs smoothly every day and that we simultaneously get better, we are looking for you: someone who leads the team, structures workflows, and not only introduces new processes but also anchors them in everyday life:

Team Leader Fiber Optic Assembly (m/f/d)

Your role

• You take responsibility for our fiber optic assembly and continuously develop the processes surrounding connector assembly, splicing, and testing
• You lead a team of approx. 12 assembly employees and are the contact person when it comes to fiber handling, quality, and tricky custom productions
• You participate in the introduction of new testing and packaging processes, from optical measurement technology to secure delivery
• You plan and optimize the material flow and support capacity and fine planning
• You coordinate between assembly, warehouse, forwarding agency, and other internal departments
• You accompany your team through new workflows and ensure that these do not fizzle out again after two weeks

What you bring

• Practical experience with fiber optics, ideally in assembly: connector assembly, splicing, polishing, or optical measurements (e.g., attenuation, OTDR) are familiar terms to you
• Completed technical training
• You are confident in your ability to lead a team. Initial leadership experience, such as as a deputy, shift supervisor, or similar, is a plus but not a must.
• Confident handling of ERP systems (ideally SAP) and MS Office
• Structured way of working with a hands-on mentality: You are at the workbench just as often as at the desk
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
