Requirements Several years of professional experience in horticulture is an advantage Independent and reliable way of working Good physical resilience Manual dexterity Weather-resistant and accustomed to working outdoors Able to work in a team and responsible Driving license Cat. B is an advantage, B/BE particularly interesting Good German skills or sufficient understanding on the construction site Training as a Gardener EFZ/EBA specializing in horticulture and landscape construction is an advantage, but not mandatory depending on the position. Tasks Care and maintenance of green spaces, gardens and outdoor facilities Planting, pruning and caring for trees, shrubs, hedges and perennials Lawn care, mowing, scarifying and new installation of lawn areas General garden maintenance work New design and redesign of garden facilities Paving work as well as laying slabs and interlocking stones Creation of paths, squares, walls and edge finishes Earthworks, leveling and preparing the subsoil Planting and professional soil cultivation Operation of horticultural equipment and small machines Assistance with irrigation and drainage work Professional disposal of green waste and cuttings Knowledge Good plant knowledge Knowledge in horticulture and landscape construction Confident handling of brush cutters, hedge trimmers, lawn mowers and other devices Knowledge in slab and paving construction is an advantage Experience with small machines such as dumpers, mini excavators or wheel loaders is an advantage Knowledge in soil cultivation, planting and garden care Understanding of occupational safety and correct handling of machines Location of deployment Central Switzerland
