As Deputy Head Site Protection & Rescue, you will take on a central leadership and control function within the Site Protection & Rescue organization. You will be responsible for the operational management of the plant fire department, the training and further education of the emergency services, as well as the organization of the standby service. In the event of an incident or emergency, you will lead operations as the overall operations manager and ensure safe, professional, and efficient operation handling at the site. Ensuring compliance with legal, official, and internal training standards, as well as complete documentation of qualifications and training certificates. Planning and management of exercises, scenario training, and large-scale exercises, as well as continuous development of training concepts. Leadership of operations as the overall operations manager or in another leadership function, as well as coordination of cooperation with internal and external emergency organizations and authorities. Participation in crisis and incident management, conduct of operation analyses, and derivation and implementation of improvement measures. Responsibility for planning and ensuring the standby service, coordinating resources, and optimizing alerting and operation processes. Technical and disciplinary leadership of the emergency services, as well as promotion of a performance-oriented safety and leadership culture. Support for the Head Site Protection & Rescue in personnel, organizational, and strategic leadership tasks. Responsibility for operational documentation, billing, compensation of emergency services, as well as support for budget planning, cost control, and reporting. Your profile: Completed vocational training with a technical or chemical background. Completed training as a fire instructor FKS. Several years of professional experience in the chemical industry. At least five years of experience as an officer in a plant or base fire department. In-depth knowledge of operational, emergency, and crisis management.
