For our long-term care unit with a psychiatric focus, we are looking for a committed and open-minded individual. You will competently and empathetically support and care for our residents through their daily lives. You enjoy working in a team and appreciate a varied working environment.

Your tasks

• Individual and resource-oriented support for residents and their relatives
• Actively shaping care processes and documenting them in care records
• Comprehensive care and support of residents
• Contributing to logistical processes within the care group
• Responsible for day-to-day operations together with the nursing professional

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a Health Specialist EFZ or an equivalent foreign diploma recognised by the SRK
• Service- and person-oriented approach to work
• Knowledge of Kinaesthetics, Integrative Validation, Basal Stimulation
• Open to new ideas and willing to advocate for progressive nursing concepts
• Resilient, a team player and flexible

About us

The KZU, with its two in-house day nurseries, operates two care centres in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three care apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to elderly, care-dependent people and, alongside various specialised services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students across 17 different professional groups.
