The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-molded parts and pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts as possible in-house. This allows us to remain agile, independent, and efficient. What you can achieve: • Secure supply and cost-optimized stock disposition of the Electronics product group • Order processing with the ERP system for new and existing articles • Checking order confirmations • Securing delivery dates / delivery date reminders • Processing error messages • Processing and implementing eForms (change notices, article integrations) • Recording and monitoring quantity contracts • Maintenance of article master data in the ERP • Requesting and evaluating offers in consultation with the Strategic Procurement Manager • Participation in optimization projects in procurement • Participation in supplier evaluation • Checking and approving supplier invoices • Adherence to processes, governance, and compliance What you bring with you: • Completed basic training in the field of electronics or electrical engineering • Further training as a specialist in purchasing or in Supply Chain Management • Experience as an operational buyer in an industrial environment • Reliable personality with entrepreneurial thinking • Independent, structured, and conscientious way of working • Initiative, negotiation skills, and assertiveness • Open, communicative, and integral person • Team player • Very good ERP and Office skills • Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken Learn more about professional opportunities at Hamilton at jobs.hamilton.ch.
