Production Engineer Generators (Interface Design/Manufacturing)

You bridge design and manufacturing in the production of generators and ensure that designed rotors can be produced in a manner suitable for manufacturing and compliant with quality.

Tasks

• Technical interface between rotor design and manufacturing
• Translating design drawings and specifications into manufacturing instructions
• Early involvement in design reviews to assess manufacturability
• Leading the resolution of design-manufacturing problems including deviations
• Application of root cause analysis and CAPA methods
• Feeding manufacturing insights back into design standards
• Technical leadership and mentoring of junior engineers

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field is an advantage
• Extensive experience in generator design, manufacturing technology or as an interface function
• Confident handling of technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Experience in cross-functional technical problem solving
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and CAPA methods
• Understanding of production planning, quality systems and manufacturing restrictions
• Fluent English required, Swiss German an advantage
