Erziehungsdepartement Your tasks Social pedagogy in Mosaik (30%) Your area of responsibility includes the social pedagogical support of the students in Mosaik on two weekdays (Thu / Fri), a branch of the Spezialangebote Sekundarstufe Sandgruben. You will work together with two social pedagogues. Possible increase The position can be additionally expanded by up to 40% upon request with flexible assignments in the eight Spezialangebote school classes. You will support the teams on a day-by-day basis as needed in lessons or in acute crisis situations. Obstacles and problems motivate you to look for solutions. You are capable of handling conflict, resilient, and have a sense of humor. Education You have training as a Sozialpädagogin / Sozialpädagoge FH/HFS/HF or an equivalent degree. You are interested in specialized professional further training. Insight into our work The Volksschulen area of the Erziehungsdepartement Basel-Stadt covers the entire compulsory school period, from kindergarten through primary school to secondary school. It is responsible for school operations and school support offers outside of lesson times. The motto of the Sekundarschule Sandgruben is "a school with two offers". 11 school classes of the Spezialangebote and 25 school classes of the regular school go to school here and are taught and supervised by around 130 employees.
