Craftsman Switch Production in Olten (w/m/d)

Job Description ### For a client, we are looking for a craftsman (w/m/d) for switch production. In this role, you are part of a specialized environment where precise work according to technical specifications and a high orientation towards quality are the focus. You will actively participate in the manufacture of safety-relevant components for railway operations and contribute your manual skills to a technically demanding production process. Tasks In this position, you are responsible for the manufacture of railway technology components according to technical drawings, laying plans, type plans, and assembly instructions, and you ensure that the required quantity and quality are maintained. You read and understand switch, track panel, and assembly drawings and implement them correctly. Your tasks include the distribution of sleepers using the crane according to the plan as well as marking the rail division according to the drawing. Additionally, you distribute and assemble various fastening materials and tighten them using torque machines. Furthermore, you drill the necessary holes for earthing cables according to the earthing plan and undertake their assembly. You support the installation and alignment of tongue devices including the associated material and work closely with the team. Requirements You have a good technical understanding and are experienced in handling hand tools. Reading and implementing technical drawings presents no difficulty for you. Good German language skills are required, as is a driving license of category B. A reliable, careful, and team-oriented way of working completes your profile.
