MOTOREX develops and produces high-quality lubricants for the smooth operation of high-performance machines and vehicles. The Swiss company, headquartered in Langenthal, Switzerland, employs around 400 employees, operates its own research and development center in Switzerland and other production plants in Europe. To strengthen our Supply Chain Management, we are looking for an experienced leader for our headquarters in Langenthal as Field of activity • Functional and personnel leadership of the operational purchasing team • Overall responsibility for the timely, quantity-compliant, and quality-compliant material supply of our plants • Ensuring high delivery capability with economically optimal inventory levels • Control, monitoring, and continuous improvement of all operational purchasing processes (incl. investment projects) • Definition of priorities, capacities, and responsibilities within the team • Close cooperation with production, logistics, quality management, sales, and strategic purchasing • Support in supplier evaluations as well as in escalations, negotiations, and risk assessments • Promotion and further development of employees as well as building a performance-oriented team culture Requirements • Technical, logistical, or commercial basic training • Further training in purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or business administration (HF/FH an advantage) • Several years of leadership experience in operational purchasing or Supply Chain Management of a manufacturing industrial company • Experience in the leadership and development of employees • Strong understanding of material flows, production supply, and inventory management • Experience in dealing with ERP systems, ideally SAP • Very good German and English skills • Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset • High assertiveness as well as strong communication and leadership competence Advantages of the position • A responsible and varied task with a lot of creative freedom • Flat hierarchies with short decision-making paths • A collegial as well as international team that gives full throttle every day and does not lose its sense of humor even in stressful times.
