To complement our team in the Medical Assessment Service (SAM) in Bellinzona, which prepares multidisciplinary and bidisciplinary medical expert reports, we are looking for a

Medical Expert SAM with specialization in General Internal Medicine (workload still to be determined)

Profile:

The person sought possesses professional experience and independence, and is motivated to acquire competencies in the area of assessment/insurance (if not already present).

Required prerequisites:

• medical degree and specialist training in General Internal Medicine (for foreign titles, MEBEKO recognition is required before starting work). Additionally, the person must have their Italian language skills (at least level B2) registered in Medreg according to the new LPMed regulations as of 1 January 2018 before starting work;
• authorization for free professional practice in the Canton of Ticino, which must be available at our institute before starting work;
• pronounced social competencies and ability to work in a team;
• organizational skills;
• experience in the area of assessment/insurance;
• knowledge of German and other national languages;
• knowledge of the Swiss insurance system and the most important rulings in the area of insurance/assessment;
• preparation of assessment reports in Italian, including:
• dictation of medical records;
• extensive anamnesis collection;
• thorough clinical examination;
• multidisciplinary case discussion with the specialists involved;
• discussion of previous assessments as well as contentious and contradictory points in the files;
• preparation of the medical expert report with clear and precise answers to all assessment questions;
• compliance with submission deadlines and quality criteria of the report.
