Your Task ##

• Engineering & platform operation: Together with the engineering team, you are responsible for the stable operation and continuous optimization of the Oracle and PostgreSQL landscape.
• Modernization & Cloud: You drive platform initiatives, including database migrations and the gradual integration of modern cloud database services.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): You consistently automate processes and rely on versioned changes, reproducible deployments, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Data Warehousing & Performance: You support the optimization of data warehouse infrastructures and ensure reliable monitoring as well as high performance.
• Close exchange: You work interdisciplinarily with system engineers and developer teams in an environment with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths.

Your Profile ##

• Sound database expertise: Several years of practice in engineering, operation, and troubleshooting of Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
• Automation mindset: Proven knowledge with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and modern automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Platform & Cloud interest: Enjoyment of modern platform architectures, CI/CD processes, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Way of working: Analytical thinking, solution-oriented action, and enjoyment of independent work.
• Languages: Very good German skills (company language).
