For our purchasing department at the Kaiseraugst location, we are looking for a committed personality who combines technical understanding with organizational talent and ensures reliable and efficient material procurement together with us.

What you do

• Operational purchasing: You are responsible for the procurement of technical materials, goods, and other required items for our production.
• Supplier management: You request offers, compare conditions, conduct price negotiations, and maintain cooperation with our suppliers.
• Schedule and material monitoring: You keep an eye on delivery dates, coordinate material availability, and support a smooth production process.
• Process optimization: You contribute your own ideas and actively participate in the further development and optimization of our purchasing processes.
• Internal cooperation: You work closely with production planning, production, and other internal interfaces.

What you bring

• Technical training: You have completed technical vocational training, ideally supplemented by further training as a Process Specialist (Prozessfachmann/-frau) or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience: You bring experience in operational purchasing or in a comparable position in a technical or industrial environment.
• Specialist knowledge: You have a good understanding of supplier management, procurement processes, and logistical contexts.
• System knowledge: You are proficient in using MS Office and have experience with ERP systems.
• Way of working: You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, set priorities, and maintain an overview even with several parallel tasks.
• Communication & team spirit: You communicate clearly and reliably and enjoy working with different contact persons.
• Languages: You have very good German skills as well as good English skills (at least level B2).
