Within the Operations division, Pension Administration Switzerland is responsible for the support of insured persons, affiliated companies and partners in all matters of occupational pension schemes. The unit combines specialist expertise, customer orientation and efficient processes for a reliable processing of pension business. As a Foundation Accountant, you will independently manage a portfolio of pension institutions and ensure correct, timely and transparent financial accounting. You are responsible for payment transactions, perform reconciliations and participate in annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER 26. With your structured way of working and your quality awareness, you make an important contribution to the financial management of the supervised foundations and work closely with internal as well as external stakeholders. You independently manage the financial accounting of pension institutions and are also responsible for the securities accounting. You post, record and reconcile daily incoming and outgoing payments and ensure timely processing of payment transactions. You reconcile bank accounts, securities holdings and interfaces between technical accounting and financial accounting. You participate in the preparation of annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER 26. You prepare evaluations, documents and statements for auditing, withholding tax and dunning management. You are the contact person for internal and external audits and accompany the audit processes. You participate in projects, actively help shape digitalization and process optimizations and take on mutual deputy roles within the team. You have a commercial basic education and have several years of professional experience in accounting. Ideally, you bring experience in the accounting of pension institutions or pension funds. You are familiar with the preparation of annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER 26. You work confidently with MS Office, especially Excel, and handle numbers and larger amounts of data with confidence. You think analytically, work in a structured and exact manner and enjoy taking on responsibility. You are a team player, communicative, show initiative and are open to digitalization, changes and new topics.
