Economic Social Assistance

You support, advise, and care for people in difficult life situations and approach them with appreciation. In addition, you are able to deal with the different life situations and expectations of a multifaceted clientele. Together with those affected, you seek ways and strategies to improve life circumstances, with the goal of economic and social independence.

Your challenges

• Case management in the area of economic and personal social assistance, including payments as well as the examination of subsidiary social security benefits
• Drafting benefit decisions, requirements and instructions, reimbursement orders, handling objections, and preparatory tasks for decision-making by the social assistance authority in objection decisions
• Conducting individual advisory interviews
• Administrative work directly related to the task as a social worker, in particular also the maintaining of statistics
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with specialist offices, social insurance providers, and authorities
• Support in the monitoring of residual cost financing and processing of childcare vouchers, exercise of foster care supervision
• Participation in process optimizations as well as the development of basic documents

Your qualifications

• University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work
• Professional experience in one or more professional fields of social work, particularly economic social assistance
• Winning personality with high communication competence
