The CNP aims for the rehabilitation of patients suffering from mental disorders through the adoption of an integrated and community-based psychiatry model; it implements public policies for the promotion and prevention of mental health; it acts as a reference center in the field of professional training and research in psychiatry.* The Child and Adolescent Department of the Centre Neuchâtelois de Psychiatrie (CNPea) organizes its activities around specialized poles covering the entire spectrum of care, from emergency to general consultation (in Neuchâtel and La Chaux-de-Fonds), including complex hospital and outpatient units. The total staff is 77.8 EPT. The Intensive Complex Outpatient Unit is specialized for complex cases requiring intensive follow-up at home or in outpatient care. It has 15.70 EPT multidisciplinary staff, with a high density of caregivers, psychologists, and social workers. Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist - Crisis Outpatient Clinic As part of your function, you will be required to: o develop a direct and continuous clinical practice with patients within the emergency crisis liaison pathway o participate in reflections on patient indications and orientations o conduct individual, family, and network therapeutic interviews o supervise the multidisciplinary team (15 EPT in the functions: nurses, psychotherapist psychologists, assistant physicians, and head physicians) o participate in the TIPP program in collaboration with the Adult Department o assist and replace the head physician in the medical management of services o develop the necessary plans and programs to achieve the objectives decided by the medical management and the department o organize collaboration and multidisciplinary work with the CNP's external partners o participate in the implementation of internal and external training programs o contribute to the institution's research activity o participate in meetings, institutional activities, and the updating/development of diagnostic and therapeutic methods used The skills required for this position are as follows: o be in possession of a postgraduate FMH title as a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy or a title deemed equivalent recognized by the MEBEKO o have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a head of clinic or equivalent position in the care of adolescents with acute or complex disorders o have developed skills in brief therapy o have an interdisciplinary team and network work spirit o demonstrate leadership and have a sense of planning, negotiation, and flexibility o demonstrate good skills in managing multidisciplinary teams o possess a sense of listening and collegiality Why join the CNP? o A stimulating and humane mission: Working at the heart of a public institution recognized for its integrated and community-based psychiatry model. o An exceptional environment: Neuchâtel offers a unique quality of life, between lake and mountains, ideal for families and nature lovers. o Opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in psychiatry, with active support for research and ongoing training. o Possibilities for evolution within our organization o Your function is subject only to 2nd line on-call duties.
