Data Scientist

Our client from the sporting goods industry is looking for a talented professional as a Data Scientist to complement its team. If you are passionate about sports, this position is just right for you.

Tasks

• Capture and identify local data science opportunities, initiatives, and requests
• Drive local implementation of the data science roadmap
• Take responsibility for, manage, and lead local data science initiatives according to priority
• Manage functional and cross-functional dependencies
• Drive local process monitoring and continuous improvement in cooperation with the global data science team
• Take responsibility for and implement reporting

Profile

• Master's degree in a STEM subject (Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering)
• At least 5 years of professional experience in data analysis or equivalent academic experience
• Practical experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data
• Programming skills in Python, R, C and SQL; other languages are an advantage
• Sound understanding of machine learning algorithms
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Experience with data management tools
