Head of "Energy Efficiency" Portfolio Optimization (m/f/d)

What you can set in motion. • Together with your team, you implement projects and ideas from the initial benefit assessment to implementation in operational business and network operation. You create the link between perspectives across the entire value chain of operations. • Together, you contribute to value creation as well as the economic development of our production and consumption portfolio. You are responsible for commercial negotiations as well as economic evaluations of investments, participations, cooperations and contracts with partners. • The dynamic developments in the energy sector motivate you to identify, prioritize and develop potentials and opportunities in a cross-functional manner. You define future framework conditions and requirements, ensuring that these are implemented in the right places with your team. • You identify and coordinate the needs for digital and procedural developments in trading, power plant management and energy planning. Cross-functionally, you are responsible for the prioritization and allocation of resources for development projects and organize responsibilities regarding tools and roles related to data. • You ensure homogeneous professional standards across all units for energetic economic evaluations and decision bases. You guarantee the development of the expertise necessary to meet future challenges, both for your team and for the employees whom you lead technically. What you bring. • Through your structured way of working and your motivating leadership style, you organize cross-functional collaboration, prioritize topics and structure processes in a results-oriented manner. You reconcile divergent requirements and manage your files in a targeted and respectful manner with various stakeholders. • You possess in-depth knowledge of energy economics across the entire value chain. Your experience covers problem analysis, solution development and their implementation in business processes. You have a particular affinity for digitalization topics, especially in software or data management projects. • After a university or high school degree, supplemented by at least one continuing education in business administration, you have oriented your career in a targeted manner towards the energy sector and have already acquired management experience. • You have a very good command of German and a good level of French (or vice versa - min. B2). A good knowledge of English is required (min. B1).
