• 13 July 2026 • 80 - 100% • Indefinite duration • Technical service, 2300 La Chaux-de-Fonds Committed to the quality of public service, the Ville de La Chaux-de-Fonds is looking for a: Head of Signage Sector at 80 % - 100 % Your mission / You are in charge of the management of the signage sector and the team, the definition and planning of the maintenance of vertical signage and road markings, the management of light signaling installations, the development and monitoring of road traffic orders, the monitoring of requests relating to signage, including analysis, processing and follow-up of decisions as well as the distribution and delegation of tasks between the different internal and external stakeholders of the municipal administration. You are able to manage emergencies, to prepare tenders, to lead and supervise services and you ensure the implementation of the necessary legal and technical measures. Your profile / Personal skills / You hold a diploma as a civil engineering draughtsman or a works supervisor. Having good knowledge of the legal bases and professional standards in the field, you have experience with geographic information systems (GIS) and you are proficient in standard computer-aided design tools (preferably Cadwork and AutoCAD). Possessing interpersonal skills, good communication skills and a good capacity for analysis and synthesis, you are an autonomous person demonstrating team spirit. Experience in personnel management would be an asset. Your writing skills (reports, notes) are well-proven. Desired start date / 1 October 2026 or date to be agreed.
