• Independent procurement of sophisticated technical components, assemblies as well as external manufacturing and processing services
• Ensuring an economical, quality-compliant and timely material supply
• Obtaining, comparing and evaluating supplier offers
• Independent conduct of price and contract negotiations
• Coordination and monitoring of all ordering processes and delivery dates
• Active support, evaluation and further development of existing supplier relationships
• Identification and evaluation of new national and international procurement sources
• Conducting supplier visits and participating in supplier audits
• Processing and coordination of complaints in cooperation with quality management
• Close cooperation with production planning, production, quality assurance and project management
• Participation in make-or-buy decisions as well as in technical and economic project clarifications
• Support in the creation and calculation of customer offers
• Active co-design and further development of the purchasing and procurement strategy
• Continuous optimization of the supplier portfolio as well as existing procurement processes

Our client wishes

• Completed technical vocational training EFZ or a comparable technical qualification
• Further training in the field of purchasing or procurement, for example as a specialist in purchasing with federal diploma (Einkaufsfachmann/-frau mit eidg. Fachausweis)
• Several years of professional experience in technical purchasing, ideally in an international industrial company
• Good technical understanding of sophisticated components, assemblies and industrial manufacturing processes
• Knowledge in the procurement of precise technical products is an advantage
• Experience in supplier management as well as in price and contract negotiations
• Good SAP and MS Office skills
• Business fluent German and English skills
• Strong negotiation skills and convincing communication abilities
