The Dr. Stephan à Porta-Stiftung has been committed for many years to the preservation and creation of affordable living space. We own and manage around 1'400 apartments in the city of Zürich. With our net profit, we also support charitable institutions in Zürich and in the canton of Graubünden.

Socially, ecologically, and economically sustainable action is not just a claim for us, but part of our daily actions.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated personality who manages our properties with a lot of personal responsibility and ensures that our tenants feel comfortable in their homes.

Your task – your properties

You take responsibility for the properties assigned to you and are the first point of contact on-site for our tenants.

In doing so, a versatile everyday working life awaits you:

• You independently look after and monitor the properties assigned to you.
• You are a competent and friendly contact person for our tenants and take care of concerns regarding the properties.
• You monitor technical systems and carry out smaller maintenance, repair, and upkeep work yourself.
• You coordinate external craftsmen and service partners and monitor the work carried out.
• You provide active support during apartment changes, inspections, and minor refurbishments.
• You work closely with the head office.
• Your area of operation: approx. 80 properties in the city of Zürich

What you bring with you

More important to us than a perfect CV is that you are technically and manually proficient, take on responsibility, and enjoy working with people.

Ideally, you bring the following:

• A completed manual or technical apprenticeship
• Experience in caretaker services, building maintenance, or a comparable technical environment
• Good technical and manual skills
• Knowledge in building technology, especially sanitary, heating, or ventilation, is a plus
• An independent, reliable, and responsible way of working
• Enjoyment of personal contact with different people
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
• Driving license category B
