Your tasks The already strongly practiced interdisciplinary collaboration will be further strengthened with the merger of all departments in the new building from 2027 and creates optimal conditions for a future-oriented, networked medicine. • You take over as a leading physician a clinical-operative cadre function in the Urology Clinic with a broad deployment in outpatient and inpatient patient care as well as your own consultation hour. • With corresponding qualification (management training, habilitation) there is the possibility of co-management of the clinic. • You independently perform demanding urological interventions across the entire operative spectrum and participate in the further development of operative urology. • As a responsible cadre physician, you supervise and instruct assistant and senior physicians and ensure high quality in interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration. • You engage in training and further education, particularly in teaching operative techniques and larger urological interventions. • You participate in the clinic's cadre services (specialist background or emergency service). Your profile • You have a completed medical degree or an equivalent, MEBEKO-recognized foreign qualification, the specialist title in urology as well as possibly further focus titles, a cantonal medical license (BAB) or fulfill the requirements for it. • We require in-depth experience in endourology; competence in laser enucleation of the prostate is desirable. • You have experience in major urological (oncological or reconstructive) surgery, robot-assisted or open. • You have several years of professional experience as a specialist at a center or university hospital. • You have very good German language skills (C1). • You are characterized by high team ability, resilience, social competence, communication strength, willingness to take responsibility and joy in training young colleagues.
